Amber Infrastructure Group (Amber) is a leading international infrastructure specialist, providing asset management and investment advisory services in respect of over £5.1 billion of assets in the UK, Europe, Australia and North America. Amber’s core business focuses on sourcing, developing, advising on, investing in and managing infrastructure assets within the utilities, PPP, transport, renewable energy and regeneration sectors. 

Amber provides investment advisory services to International Public Partnerships Limited as well as private investment funds, specialising in urban regeneration and energy efficiency. Amber is headquartered in London with offices in Edinburgh, Munich, Sydney, Melbourne and San Francisco and employs over 80 people, making it one of the largest international infrastructure specialists. 

Buyer Details

Hunt Companies, Inc. is a privately-owned company dedicated to building value through the development, investment, management and financing of real assets. Hunt provides a broad range of services to public and private sector clients. Founded in 1947 and headquartered in El Paso, Texas, Hunt has more than 1,200 direct employees. Together, Hunt and its affiliates own or manage 271,770 multifamily units including over 214,000 affordable units and 5.1 million square feet of office, retail and industrial properties. Hunt has 16 offices throughout the United States and 3 abroad. 

Transaction Summary

Hunt Companies, Inc., through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, has completed an investment in Amber Infrastructure Group Holdings Limited, headquartered in London, England.  Hunt acquired a fifty percent (50%) ownership of the Company with an ability to appoint a majority of directors at the Amber holding company.
