Buyer Details

Established in 1855, Savills plc is a leading international property services company with a full listing on the London Stock Exchange. The company has more than 180 offices and associates throughout the UK, Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. Savills is the trading name for the property service subsidiaries of Savills plc which advise on commercial, rural, residential and leisure properties. Other services include corporate finance advice, fund management and a range of property related financial services.

Transaction Summary

Effective immediately, Granite Partners is re-branded as Savills Granite LLC under the leadership of company co-founder John D. Lyons, who assumes the title of Savills Chief Executive of North America. Savills Granite LLC will continue to emphasize investment transactions and financing involving portfolios and other large-scale assets representing commercial, retail, medical office properties and other categories. This acquisition is in line with Savills' strategy to invest directly in operations in the US following the dissolution of the company's strategic alliance with the Trammell Crow Company.
