Mr. Miles joined Berkshire Capital in 1997. Dick has led numerous M&A advisory engagements for Berkshire Capital clients in the securities, institutional management and wealth management sectors. He currently co-heads Berkshire Capital’s securities industry practice.
Dick was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer of Butcher and Company, following his tenure as Chief Financial Officer of Butcher & Singer, Inc., its brokerage subsidiary. Dick also spent ten years in London with Merrill Lynch & Co., where as a Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group, he held a variety of management, marketing and transaction execution responsibilities. He began his career in corporate finance at Kuhn, Loeb & Co.
Dick earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. Following service as a Lieutenant, USN, he received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dick is also Chairman of Cameron Capital Management. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Haverford School, a former Chairman of The Pennsylvania Trust Company and a former director of WFS Financial Corporation.
