Mr. Spector joined Berkshire Capital in 2004 with extensive experience in negotiating and structuring transactions involving banks, thrifts, asset managers, broker dealers and finance companies. Mitch supports Berkshire Capital’s transaction execution and business development efforts across the firm’s practice areas. He currently co-heads the firm’s institutional and mutual funds practice areas.
Prior to joining Berkshire Capital, Mitch was a Senior Managing Director at FTN Financial Securities Corp. in charge of investment banking for financial institutions. His clients included banks and thrifts nationwide as well as all types of other financial service companies. Previously, he ran the Regulated Industries M&A effort at CIBC World Markets and focused on financial services M&A at Prudential Securities, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Spector began his career at First Fidelity Bancorporation and also worked for Morgan Stanley in equity research.
Mitch received his BS in Economics and MBA degrees from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
