Caleb W. Burchenal

Mr. Burchenal joined Berkshire Capital in 1996.  Caleb has established a Berkshire Capital presence in Denver, Colorado, where he is actively involved in the firm’s new business and transaction execution efforts in the western half of the United States.  During his tenure at Berkshire Capital, Caleb has advised on a wide range of M&A transactions in the securities, institutional management, real estate and wealth management sectors.  He is a co-leader of the firm’s securities industry practice and heads the firm’s valuation practice.

Caleb brings to Berkshire Capital extensive experience in structuring corporate finance transactions for financial services companies.  He joined Berkshire Capital from Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., where he had been a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group overseeing client coverage in the Midwest and Southwest.  Earlier in his career, Caleb had been a Vice President in the Global Finance and Mortgage Finance Departments at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was responsible for the execution of a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and asset securitizations for financial services companies.  He started his career in investment banking in 1980 at PaineWebber Incorporated as a generalist in the Corporate Finance Department.

Caleb earned a BA degree in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA degree from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
